It’s no surprise why the choice for the new campaign has landed with the lovely Marion Cotillard. The 39 year-old Academy Award-winning actress has been the Dior Lady since 2008.

The actress is captured by photographer Peter Lindbergh against the backdrop of a field of massive solar panels. With her hair styled away from her face in a small quiff, Marion Cotillard appears to sizzle in the hot desert setting. The campaign, located in a desert that is cultivated to generate green electricity, also features a pay phone along with the new Lady Dior handbags.
A complementing making-of film by Eliott Bliss will debut on Diormag.com on April 8, however we’ve already got a video announcing the project back-stage, have another ‘sneak bite’:
