Christian Louboutin is a renouned shoe designer, producing his signature red-lacquer-soled shoes from a workshop in Paris. Previously only women’s shoes were available under the Louboutin label, but he has since branched out to men’s footwear, handbags and luxury nail lacquers. The French designer is known best for his dangerously high stilettos that value style over comfort.
